I have a love-hate relationship with Easter eggs. Each Spring, well, it's still Winter technically, I start dragging down our bins of hundreds (thousands?) of colorful, empty plastic Easter eggs to sit outside my office waiting to be picked up, filled up, and returned in time for Eggcellent Saturday.

There in the middle of all the ugliness, our ugliness, stands Jesus. And to no one in particular and everyone, he says, “Follow me.”  And there go Simon and Matthew, right behind him.

Can you imagine leaving your home country and seeking legal asylum in a foreign country with virtually no possessions and where you know few if any people? Glenn recently was awarded a Mustard Seed Grant from UMCOR that will allow us to support asylum seekers at the Atlanta airport.

Maybe Christmas isn’t a stop along the way at all, but rather the way itself, the ground beneath our feet and the star by which we chart our course.

Let those who have ears to hear party likewise.
