Scouts BSA Troop 18

Scout Troop 18’s charter goes back to 1920, making it one of the first troops in DeKalb County. Glenn sponsored Troop 18 from 1925-2023. Troop 18 is now sponsored by T18/P6 4Ever Inc. and conducts activities at Glenn Memorial Church and surrounding locations. Troop 18 scouts look forward to 10 to 12 outings a year, including activities such as canoeing, hiking, camping, caving, climbing, skiing, and more plus ongoing leadership development. A child must be 11 years old and in the 5th grade to join the troop. Troop meetings are held on Tuesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Scout Hut behind the Glenn Youth and Activities Building (1669 North Decatur Road). Cub Scouts Pack 6 

Cub Scouts Pack 6 was sponsored by Glenn from 1935-2023 and is also now sponsored by T18/P6 4Ever Inc. Den meetings and activities such as community service, camping, and the Pinewood Derby are held on various days and times at Glenn Memorial Church and surrounding locations. Pack 6 is for any child age 5 to 10 (Kindergarten through 5th grades).
