Julia is originally from Jamaica and spent some years in New York where she earned an Associate degree in Accounting and a Bachelors’ degree in Business Management. She relocated to Georgia in 1992 and Atlanta has been her home since. Most of Julia's thirty-plus years of her career has been in Accounting. She has two children of which one gained his wings in 2017 after fighting Brain cancer and the other is a college graduate. Ben is in his second year as Glenn’s youth director but has been an active Glenn member for over 20 years. An Atlanta native and Glenn Youth alumnus, Ben graduated from Indiana University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and covered the NBA professionally before joining the Glenn staff in 2022. He’s also active in Glenn’s young adult and men’s groups, and he continues to write about basketball and play music in his free time.

Käthe Wright Kaufman serves as the Associate Director of Music and Worship Arts at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, where she serves as principal keyboardist and accompanist for services, oversees maintenance of the 1982 Casavant Frères organ, directs the Glenn Youth Choir, and aids the Director of Music and Worship Arts in shaping and supporting a vibrant program. Previously, Käthe served as Organ Scholar at Peterborough Cathedral in the UK, where she assisted in rehearsing and training the choristers and played for three to four services a week. Käthe was launched into church music when she joined the choir of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Evanston, Illinois at age eight under the direction of Richard Webster. Her growing love of the Anglican choral tradition inspired her to begin her organ studies in high school with James Brown. For both undergraduate and graduate study, she attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where she studied organ, harpsichord, and improvisation with William Porter and Edoardo Bellotti, as well as organ with David Higgs for her master’s degree. During her undergraduate studies at Eastman, Käthe worked at Christ Church (Rochester) and as the organ scholar at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, and during her MMus she worked as Organ Scholar at St. Paul’s, Rochester. This exposure to different styles and denominations of worship cemented in her the desire to work as a full-time church musician. Following the completion of her Bachelor of Music degree magna cum laude from Eastman in 2016, Käthe spent a gap year in the UK, where she served as organ scholar at Truro Cathedral, playing two to three services a week, maintaining the music library, and training the probationers every weekday morning. Käthe most enjoys accompanying choirs and passing on her love of choral and organ repertoire to her choristers and congregation. Käthe has performed in venues such as St. Thomas Church, NYC; Grace Cathedral, San Francisco; Clare College Chapel, Cambridge; St. Edmundsbury Cathedral; and St. Michael’s Cornhill, London. Katie Woolf joined the music staff at Glenn UMC in Fall 2019 as Covenant Choir Director and Staff Singer. She also conducts choruses at Paideia School and the Atlanta Young Singers. Prior to teaching at Paideia, Katie conducted choirs and taught voice at the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts and Harvard University. An Atlanta native, Katie earned degrees in voice and conducting from Furman University, Boston University, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She currently lives in Druid Hills with her dog Rosie and, in her spare time, enjoys shooting photos, doing yoga, and traveling.

Ariel Murphy is the daughter of The Rev. Matt and Tonya Murphy. Ariel is a 2020 graduate of Reinhardt University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a minor in Business. During her time at Reinhardt, she was a part of the Reinhardt University Campus Ministries. She has previously served in the areas of Children’s Ministries, Administration, AV, and Outreach at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Douglasville, GA. Ariel has one son, Axson and a cat named Peppa. She enjoys Braves baseball, Georgia football, reading, traveling, swimming, and trying new restaurants.

George is a First-Year Master of Divinity student at the Candler School of Theology and currently serves as the Youth Ministry Intern. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace, War, and Defense. George is from Iredell County, North Carolina and is a certified candidate on the deacon track in the North Carolina Conference. He enjoys reading about history and religion, playing the saxophone, and cheering on the Tar Heels.
