Wednesday Nights @ Glenn feature a variety of options for fellowship, learning, & fun for all ages, including the optional Wednesday Night Supper for food & fellowship, with no dishes to wash!
 
 
When:
Wednesdays, mid-August thru early May.  
5:30-6:45pm - Optional Wednesday Night Supper                       
6:30pm- Fellowship, Programs, Bible Studies & Children’s Choirs
  
Cost:
Wednesday Night Supper is $8 for adults and $5 for students/children, with a $25 family maximum. 
 
Most programs are FREE – including Children’s ChoirsYouth FellowshipEmory Wesley Fellowship, and the Main Stage program.
Suggested donations for supplies/instructors associated with optional Bible Studies & Exercise Classes will be announced.

5:30pm - Casual picnics on the playground (Rain plan: Ward Hall) with friends and family.  Sandwiches catered by Tscharner Dickerson.

 **No Choirs or Yoga**  Childcare provided on the playground until 7:30pm.

 

6:30pm - Making Sense of the Bible Book Study 

Rev. Josh Amerson will be leading a 3-week study of Adam Hamilton’s latest book, Making Sense of the Bible. This group study is part of our recent and ongoing discussion at Glenn about becoming a Reconciling Congregation. The book details the history, nature, and authority of Scripture and looks at what the Bible says about a number of topics including homosexuality. Gatherings will be in room 208 from 6:30-7:30pm on May 14, 21 and 28. Children's Choirs for children ages Pre-K (4-yrs-old) through 5th grade. Click here for more information. Childcare with supervised free play is provided for all children not in choir (Room 310).

Youth Fellowship

Bible Studies & Small Groups

-DISCIPLE II Bible Study. Begins August 14th.  6:30 - 8:00pm in Room 422.

DISCIPLE II –Into the Word Into the World – encourages persons to open themselves to hearing what God has to say to them through the Bible and to be guided into service in the world by Scripture. A 32-week study by individual members and the group in its weekly meeting. Recommended for those who have completed DISCIPLE I or another in-depth introductory Bible study or coursework. For more information or to sign up, contact Jennifer Scott-Ward (jscottward@churchs.com) or Rev. -Wednesday Women – Small Group. 6:30-7:25pm in the Parlor.  Join with Ginny Tincher and Lindsey Amerson for confidential sharing, laughter, support, & prayer.  All women welcome – single, dating, married –working, mothering, in school, or any combination!  For more info, contact Ginny Tincher.

Exercise Class
Yoga is offered in Room 409 from 6:30-7:30pm, in sync with the Children’s Choirs practice schedule (we will not meet on special event nights such as Musicals & holiday events.)  $5 per person.  All ages youth & adults welcome – men and women.  Led by Emily Zanke.  

Main Stage Program
The Main Stage programs vary from Music Nights to Fellowship Nights, plus occasional guest speakers and programs.  See above for schedule. In Ward Fellowship Hall.
 

Located in the Glenn Memorial Church School Building -1660 N.Decatur Rd.  
Free parking is available at the Youth & Activities Building (YAAB) - 1669 N. Decatur Rd - and after 5pm in the Fishburne Deck.
