Items Needed for Good Neighbor Day
Good Neighbor Day isn’t until September 11th, but you can start helping prepare right now. Several of our projects need donated items- we will be putting together care bags for parents at Egleston and new home kits for clients at Our House and The Living Room. All donations can be brought to church throughout the month of August. Here’s your shopping list for a good cause.
Items Needed for Good Neighbor Day Kits
- Shower Caddies for Boys and Girls
- Full sized and Travel sized soaps, lotions, toothpaste, and deodorant (unscented preferred)
- Full sized Shampoo and Conditioner, Axe Body Wash
- Wash clothes, toothbrushes, and large zip lock bags
- Hairbrushes and combs
- Dental Floss and Q-Tips
- Cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and sponges
- Blankets, Linens (sheets, towels, etc)
- Radios, Clock Radios
- Small Appliances (blenders, toasters, etc.)
- Silverware and Assorted Utensils
- Pots, Pans and Bakeware
- Pot Holders and Dish Towels
- Food Storage Containers
- Laundry Baskets
- Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash Bags
Items Most Needed for ICM Food Drive
- Cold Cereal
- Powdered Milk
- Canned Vegetables and Fruits (also Applesauce cups)
- Mac & Cheese (also single serving Easy Mac)
- Peanut Butter
- Granola & Fruit Bars
- Juice
- Canned Chicken
- Crackers (also Single Wrapped Packs)
- Single-serve bag of pretzels/chips
