Lenten Small Groups

February 22 - April 4

Small groups of roughly 6-12 people will meet at various times and locations throughout the week for the 40-day period of Lent to read, discuss, and pray together.

During this year’s Lenten Season, we invite all of our members to participate in a study on the “I Am” sayings of Jesus. The sermon series at 8:30am, 11am and 5:05pm will focus on the sayings which each group will have studied the prior week. Children & Youth Sunday School will focus on these Scriptures as well. This year, in addition to a couple established groups, we are inviting group leaders according to the neighborhoods represented in our congregation. Beginning the week of February 22, the goal of these Lenten groups is to foster fellowship and discipleship through meeting new and old friends at Glenn for an intentional hour each week.

The books are available in the church office for a donation of $10 or may be checked out from our library. Email Rev. Susan Pinson at to sign-up or if you are interested in forming a group! And whether you’re participating in a small group or not, all are invited to sign up for daily e-mail devotions throughout Lent.
