Kids @ Glenn
“Jesus grew in wisdom and body and in favor with God and other people.” Luke 2:52
Building Lives – one child at a time
We are in ministry with children and their families – worshiping, studying, playing, serving, and most important of all, growing together in our understanding of what it means for all of us to be children of God.
Kids in Worship
Children are wanted and welcomed in worship at Glenn! Children’s bulletins & Worship Activity Bags are available at all three services, and a special “Children’s Sermon” is a part of the 11am Worship Service in the Sanctuary. Children lead worship on occasion by reading one of the Scripture lessons, assisting as ushers & greeters, and singing with one of our three children’s choirs.
Childcare in the Church School Building is provided for Infants/One’s (Nursery - Room 200), Two’s & Three’s (Toddlers - Room 206), and Pre-K & Kindergarten (Room 310) during our 8:30am and 11am services. Pre-K & Kindergarten join us in the 11am service for the opening hymn and Children's Sermon and then return to Childcare (Room 310 & the playground) with childcare staff and are signed out by parents/guardians as usual after the service ends. Childcare for The Gathering @ 5:05pm service is in Room 310 & the playground.
Safety at Glenn
Our Child Protection Policy requires children to be signed in AND out of activities to ensure their safety. Additionally, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times -- whether in the YAAB, Church School building, sanctuary, or playground. This includes before activities on Wed. Nights. Please remember that our church is an open/public space, so we must take all precautions to ensure the safety of young and old alike. Click here to view our Child/Youth Protection & Policy forms.
