Loving God, Loving Neighbor
A safe, loving, and fun childcare experience helps your infant, toddler, or preschooler begin the faith journey knowing that God's love is present everyday, especially at church! We provide nurseries for infants, toddlers, and pre-school/Kindergarten children during all regularly scheduled worship services and during Wednesday night suppers and activities.
Our childcare staff are loving and caring, experienced, screened, & trained, and ready to work with you in caring for your child. Children are signed in and out by a parent/guardian, with detailed contact information, special instructions, and more. You are welcome to stay with your child to help him/her become familiar with the nurseries, bring blanket or favorite toy for comfort, as well as extra snacks (no nuts, please). Let us know how we can help your little one - and YOU - most enjoy the nurseries.
During the Sunday School hour (9:45am-10:45am) each Sunday, short lessons of Bible stories, songs, and crafts are provided for Toddlers through Kindergarteners. Pre-K and Kindergarten children are escorted to the beginning of the 11am worship service each week (except 1st Sundays of the month) to be a part of the opening hymn and Children's Sermon Time. After this, the children and childcare staff return to the Church School Building for free play - both inside and on the playground!
The nursery is "the church" to your little one -- we encourage families to help each child be a part of the church family through fun and faith development together.
For more information, contact our Children’s Minister, Rev. Susan Pinson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 404-634-3936, ext 103.
