Address and Contact

519 Memorial Drive Southeast
Atlanta, GA 30312

The Atlanta Habitat for Humanity office and warehouse are located in Grant Park off I-20.  Our office and the ReStore are directly across from the Historic Oakland Cemetery.  Our warehouse fronts on Woodward Avenue, directly behind the office.

Purpose of Organization

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry.  HFH seeks to eliminate poverty, housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.  Habitat has built more than 225,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities safe, decent, affordable shelter.

Volunteer Opportunities

Each year for the last twenty years, Glenn Memorial has worked with a partner church to build a Habitat House.  Each house requires 15 volunteers from each church for seven Saturdays, plus a food crew to provide lunch.  Volunteers at all skill levels are welcome to build on site, make sandwiches, or deliver the meal one or more Saturdays during each “build.”
