Family & Community Ministries

The generations gather for our annual dinner dance with the Jim Gibson Band playing our favorite tunes, though dancing is not required! This evening is a great time of fellowship, food and fun for all Glenn members and friends. 



 

Eggcellent Saturday is our annual community-wide Easter Egg Hunt, featuring an egg hunt, games, face painting, bouncies, food & fun.



 

All women of the Glenn community are invited to attend this annual weekend of fun, fellowship and learning at historic, scenic Camp Glisson.

Twice a year, we head off to beautiful campgrounds to rediscover the fun of camping, hiking, campfires and each other.

 

 

The Children's Committee & Youth Council lead us each fall in a celebration in the Glenn Pumpkin Patch featuring games, music, food, costumes and "trunk-or-treating."
  

 

Glenn welcomes the Advent season with a special Wednesday evening filled with festive activities, including decorating Advent wreaths, making ornaments for the Glenn Family Christmas tree, singing carols and decorating cookies.  

 

Each summer, we invite the Glenn community of all ages & stages to sign up to meet new friends through casual Summer Supper Groups. Some groups decide to dine out at local restaurants, others enjoy potlucks or picnics at one another's homes.  Longtime friendships are renewed and new-to-Glenn friends are made over good food and conversation.
