Christmas Eve Worship

5:00pm - The Christmas Story - A community favorite for over thirty years, this service portrays the Christmas story in drama and song, with angels, shepherds, wise men, and the Holy Family.  During the service, all children are invited to come sing "Away in a Manger" to the Baby Jesus.
Nursery provided for ages 4 & younger.  Special music begins at 4:30pm.

11:00pm-Candlelight Communion Service - This service includes music by the Glenn Youth & Alumni choir, a Christmas Eve homily by the Rev. Dr. Alice Rogers, the Sacrament of Holy Communion, and ends with candle lighting as the congregation sings "Silent Night" to the accompaniment of a single guitar, as it was when it was sung for the first time in 1818.  Special music begins at 10:30pm.

Alternative Christmas Gift Catalog

Did you know that Americans are expected to spend $500 billion dollars on Christmas gifts this year? If you’re looking for ways to give meaningful gifts to loved ones without being a part of the consumerist frenzy, consider something from Glenn’s Alternative Giving Catalog this year. Make a donation in honor of a friend or family member that will support the education of children around the world, help feed and clothe people in need, or contribute to the planting of trees throughout the city of Atlanta. Click here to download a catalog or look for one in the Church School Building throughout the month of December.

A is for Advent Food Drive

Advent is a time of expectation and preparation for The Gift of Christmas. Join our food drive to share with those in need during this special time of year. All non-perishable foods accepted...we particularly need cereal and non-perishable milk…or use the 'alphabet game' below to be creative.  Collection boxes are underneath the stairwell by the church mailboxes.

Dec 28:  Christmas Sunday - C is for the Christ Child (cereal, corn, chili, crackers...)
