Advent & Christmas 2014
Alternative Christmas Gift Catalog – coming soon!
Did you know that Americans are expected to spend $500 billion dollars on Christmas gifts this year? If you’re looking for ways to give meaningful gifts to loved ones without being a part of the consumerist frenzy, consider something from Glenn’s Alternative Giving Catalog this year. Make a donation in honor of a friend or family member that will support the education of children around the world, help feed and clothe people in need, or contribute to the planting of trees throughout the city of Atlanta. You can give online at www.glennumc.org or look for one of the catalogs in the Church School Building throughout the month of December.
A is for Advent Food Drive
Advent is a time of expectation and preparation for The Gift of Christmas. Join our food drive to share with those in need during this special time of year. All non-perishable foods accepted...we particularly need cereal and non-perishable milk…or use the 'alphabet game' below to be creative. Collection boxes are underneath the stairwell by the church mailboxes.
