That All May Worship:
Outreach to Persons with Disabilities
Parking for cars with handicap parking permits is located along the one-way driveway between the sanctuary and the Church School Building. Enter the driveway by coming through Emory’s main entrance and turning right onto Fishburne, and then right onto the church driveway. Or from North Decatur Road you can turn directly onto the one-way driveway near the front of the sanctuary.
Entry to the Sanctuary
Wheelchair access is available on either side of the east end of the sanctuary, nearest to the Church School Building. Ushers are available at the entrances during services to assist all guests.
Space for wheelchair and companion seating is available on both sides at the front of the sanctuary, and also across the back of the sanctuary. Ushers are available to direct you to these areas.
Entry to the Church School Building
Wheelchair access is available by way of a ramp at the northwest side of the building (nearest to the sanctuary and the Emory campus). The ramp leads to an interior elevator that provides access to all floors of the Church School Building, including The Little Chapel.
Large Print Bulletins
Large print bulletins are available for both Sunday morning services.
Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted Listening Devices are available in the sanctuary for persons who need them. An usher can assist you. A credit card or driver’s license is required as a security deposit for the earphones.
For the time being, our only handicapped accessible restrooms are in the Church School Building by way of the ramp at the northwest side of the building (nearest to the sanctuary and the Emory campus). The university, which owns the sanctuary, will be addressing this important need in the near future.
